The 2026 range

Four series. Seven amplifiers.

Dane builds amplifiers you can afford to play. Danish since 1962, and still honest about what sits in the cabinet.

Four series

Named after what they are

The series name says what the technology is; the number says the watts. No customer has to ask what a Core 40 is.

Europæisk Musik Import A/S

Per-Ole Larsson imported VOX into Scandinavia. When the Hamburg bookings came in and there was no PA to sell, he built a company that could amplify anything on a stage: vocals, guitar, bass, all of it.

The idea was modular: one 50-watt amplifier per speaker cabinet, stacked until it was loud enough. Systems passed 300 watts at a time when that was close to unthinkable. Dane and its sister brand MAX went out across Denmark, Norway, Germany, England and France, and supplied the sound for the first Roskilde Festival.

Imported today by DanMusicPartner ApS, Rugvænget 1, DK-8500 Grenaa.
